Mandarin Magic Weekend!
Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9th

Pack up your friends and family and bring them out to Placer County Mandarin Magic Weekend. Come experience the glowing orange hillsides from the mandarin orchards while they are in full production.

During this weekend four of the largest Mandarin Growers in Placer County will open their orchards between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to visitors not just to purchase the familiar, 10-pound, orange-mesh bags of the delicious, seedless fruit, but to talk history and take tours and to learn the planting and harvesting techniques of this luscious little easy to peel orange vitamin rich fruit.

Each of the four orchards are unique:
Some have simple fruit stands, other's feature barns with sorting operations. Each one on the tour has a different history and story to tell. So come on out to the orchards and enjoy tours, tastings, artists, music and more along with enjoyable conversations with the grower, his family and friends.
